Maden Sepeti — B2B Marketplace and Logistics Platform for Mining and Raw Materials
We built a B2B marketplace for Maden Sepeti that brings the trade of minerals, raw materials and industrial products onto a single platform: an iOS and Android app with dedicated interfaces for customers, suppliers, logistics companies and drivers, a web-based admin panel, quote and sample workflows, shipment planning, driver location tracking and a corporate website.
About the project
Maden Sepeti is a digital marketplace that connects suppliers, buyers and logistics companies in the mining and raw materials sector. We designed and developed the platform end to end, from analysis to launch; the mobile app is live on the App Store and Google Play.
The system is built around four user roles. Customers browse products, request quotes and samples, place orders and track their orders and documents. Suppliers manage their products, variants and stock and respond to incoming quotes and orders. Logistics companies register their vehicles and drivers and plan shipments, while drivers carry out the shipments assigned to them through the app.
The whole process is overseen from a web-based admin panel: orders and cancellation/return requests, product and category management, stock movements, approval of supplier and logistics company applications, sample shipments, messaging, commission and tax settings, role-based permissions and activity logs. We also built the corporate website that presents the platform and hosts the support and account deletion pages.
Need
In the mining and raw materials trade, buyers, suppliers and carriers mostly work over the phone and messaging apps. Quotes, samples, orders, documents and shipment details end up scattered across different channels, making it hard to see which stage a load is at, keep stock and price information up to date, and keep a record of the workflow between the parties.
Solution
We built a platform with a separate interface for each role, all running on a single server infrastructure. The mobile app was developed from one codebase for both iOS and Android, and through the web admin panel the platform operator manages all users, products, orders and shipments in one place. Suppliers and logistics companies join the system after admin approval. Location sharing in the driver role and the map screen on the logistics side allow shipments to be followed along the way. We added email verification and KVKK (Turkish data protection) consent to registration, and an account deletion flow in the app and on the web to meet store requirements.
