Kargo Bankası — Web-Based Cargo Management System

Kargo Bankası is a cargo company providing intra-city and intercity shipping services to individual and corporate customers. We developed a web-based cargo management system to bring the company's shipment acceptance, distribution, courier operations and customer notification processes together on a single digital infrastructure.

The system consists of a panel where managers run operations, an interface where couriers carry out deliveries and a customer panel where customers track their shipments. We also prepared the company's corporate website.

In cargo operations, a shipment passes through acceptance, transfer, distribution and delivery stages, with different people involved at each stage. Running this process with scattered tools makes it hard to see where a shipment is in real time, to track couriers' work and to give customers accurate information.

The company also needed to work in integration with the systems of different carriers and to monitor its operations through regular reports.

We developed a web-based cargo management system for Kargo Bankası that works according to manager, courier and customer roles. The management and operations panel lets shipments be recorded, their statuses managed and the whole operation monitored from a single screen. The courier interface allows shipments out for delivery to be tracked in the field and their statuses updated.

Thanks to the customer panel and live shipment tracking, shipments can be followed from the moment they are created until they are delivered. Integrations with carriers' APIs transfer shipment data between systems automatically, and the reporting module allows the operation to be reviewed regularly.

Kargo Bankası's operation, from shipment acceptance to delivery, is now gathered in a single digital system that connects the management, courier and customer sides. Shipment statuses can be monitored in real time by managers, couriers and customers through the same system.
